If that colour is faded then I'd hate to think what you'd say when you saw mine :|

Bike looks stunning mate!

Nice pic but I prefer North Wales in summer ( even more so if  its not raining!) Last rode your way after MCN protest ride Sept09 but was in Powys riding last weekend-absolutely stunning scenery & road condition! :lol  Tidy looking bike BTW

I believe these days it's cheaper to get your stuff vinyl wrapped, but I'd go for having it done at a business property,  not one of those mobile we come to your house ones.

Sky's the limit, you could keep it original colour or have a full on race spec design, photographs, anything your mind can think of!

Plus it can be removed leaving the original paintwork underneath if you decide to sell.

Vinyl wrapped eh? Sounds a bit kinky  :lol
I'd be real interested to hear a bit more about the process, in all seriousness, though - it's a new one on me.

I had my tank vinyl wrapped as I had to buy a replacement which wasn't the same colour.

If I had the choice, I'd have a respray personally. Vinyl wrapping is cheaper but I don't think you get the same depth of shine from it. Now this may just be the guy who did mine, but he did say that I wouldn't be able to tell the difference when colour matching. That was an outright lie as the red used had much more of a cherry colour and didn't match the fairings - granted if you are doing the whole bike this is less of an issue.

Vinyl wrapping does have other advantages though - complex designs with different colours or graphics are actually possible without costing a fortune. It is cheaper and quicker which is always a plus. At the end of the day, if you are doing a solid block of colour on a bike, I would suggest a respray. Cars are much bigger and can be harder to get panels off and stripped down, whereas this doesn't need to happen with Vinyl

Saw this on Wheeler Dealers the other week, looks pretty good and supposed to be good prices.

Scroll down and check out the bike wheels and also look at the bikes on the rest of the site.
