hi guys
this is really starting to annoy me now my bike has a new selector fork and still jumps out of 2nd gear all i cn think is my drum has gone to i havent tried replacing that yet thought what should the drum look like condition i mean ???
any help or advice appreciated

ok i think its the selector drum has anyone got a good one for sale?

it could be the 2nd gear itself,if the dogs have worn then the gear will drop out like you are geting,and 2nd is the most common gear to wear

I'd agree with solorider - if the dogs are fooked it will cause it to jump out of gear. Must be a pisser to have rebuilt it to find it still jumping out of gear, good luck dude. :'(

I've had it happen on boat outdrives, once the edges of the dogs get rounded over they push themselves out of mesh like a cam as soon as you put any power through them, usually causing selector forks to flex or bend, replacement is the only way out, also check the gear it's meshing with as that will be worn too and will soon were a new gear.
