Just got round to reading this post and instead of lurking thought i'd better reply.
I checked the map 'cause I wasn't sure if I was on and found I am living in a
tree about a mile up the road from where I thought I was.

I always fancied living in a tree house but it'd need to be a redwood to contain all my creature comforts

Yeah that's right, I think this ones an oak so I will stick with the traditional
till someone lets loose a disease to kill them then I will move back to where I

The lack of stickies is deliberate as it was getting to the ridiculous stage on the old site at certain times, Hints & Tips being a prime example.
IIRC there were 14 or so stickies and only room to show half a dozen odd threads on the first page.
We went for the articles banner rather than sticky threads as a way to keep the pages "cleaner" and less cluttered, I reckon that works.

I see where you're coming from about people perhaps not realising it's there, I'll see about adding a mention to it in the Help section as well.

14th+ time someone has posted about how to add pictures.  It gets dull after a while.  Easily fixed with a sticky/help.

You can only get rid of sticky threads if someone is willing to put the work in and make the info easy to find.

A help banner would be great. Maybe a search function of some kind would be a good idea, a bit off the wall I know!

I stuck a pin in the map (Sunbury), when people have bike probs on here I always look to see if they are local as can be easier(and quicker) to pop over than keep doing the Q&A thing.
