igo8 satnavs
« on: 02 May 2013, 11:31:44 am »
I picked up a generic satnav with igo8 maps on it everything's great with it and I've just updated to 2013 maps ,but there's always a big but apart from the onboard route mapping I cannot seem to get a pc based route planner that the satnav will recognise.
I've got a folder igo8/content/userdata/route which is suppose to put the xml route file in but it won't work

any help please would be grateful  :)

Why do you need to connect it to the PC? I also have a generic Chinese cheapo satnav (I think it uses NaviGo software, or summat like that). If I need something, I plot the route, then select the destination as a "Favourite" so it's saved permanantly. If I'm going for specific roads, a sheet of A5 with clear instructions in the tankbag, with the Satnav in case I REALLY foc it up.
