020's were replaced some years ago with 021's and the latest is now the BT023.  I am sure you can still get 021's but, either way, the 021's and 023's are only later (and better) generations of Bridgestone's sports-touring tyre and either will serve you well.

I'd go for bt023. IMHO bt021 are a bit poor in comparison to the 020, they wear really oddly at the front, and are crap when cold.

I found that too. I think because they went to a solid band on the centre it wore away really quickly on the tread just of the centre giving a bad feeling in corners and low mileage before needing changing.

Always had a 21 on the rear (not tried the front) and had complete faith in it, and it's worn well.
Was looking at 23's next time though, just through good reputation.

021 or 023 - the 23 has the 3 layer system the 21 only 2 so the 23 is always better - me I like 016s or sportecs by metzler but then I live in a warm place with amazing roads  :rollin

I have Metzeler on the front, and a 21 Bridgestone on the rear, always been a very good reliable combo for me  :)

cheers guys.

ive always rode 020s on both the 600 & the 1000 as im more of a straight line rider & ride all year round.

think i'll have a look about & if any one local can get hold of any if not, i'll slap some 023s on.

thanks again
