New Tyres any suggestions?
« on: 31 March 2013, 05:29:33 pm »
I need a new set for the Fazer 8. Stock tyres are the Bridgestone 021's.  I've had bridgestones in the past and thought they were pretty hardwearing and grip seems ok, but as I need a full set I wondered what might be a good alternative. I only ride for fun and am not a particularly  fast rider, but I do like the bendies and twisties so any thoughts on a tyre with good cornering, reasonable durability and not too expensive?  Much appreciated. ;)

Stick with sports touring tyres, I'm sure most brands will be good enough for your F8.
I'm on Contisports atm on my fz1, and they're good, as were my pr3's, superb in the wet. BT023 are very good, and never seemed to wear out on my R1:o, But I'm sure there are plenty more out there.
