you should also be old enough to recall the miners strike, which they told them to call off, they didnt because it was there own personal choice to stand up for what they belived in. also the poll tax riots they stood up for what THEY wanted,  imagine where we would be if  admiral nelsons wife had told him to stay in bed and he did.
