I didn't need proof.  I already had one :-P

It's the picking him up, calming him down,  relaxing him, stopping him from headbutting me, getting him to sleep .....then you have to put them down.

It's 20 mins to get him to sleep, then another 20 to put him down.....then you see if he notices and wails.

Better to have two to make sure it wasn't beginners luck  :lol

Trust me, working with the elderly can be exactly the same... although picking them up is frowned upon  :lol

I was always up really early for work so my gorgeous beautiful sexy wonderful extra special wife dealt with the kids at night. Now i do nights a few days a week i sleep around my Mums as those little Ba$t&rds are in their 20's and don't know how to close the door, walk up the stairs or even deficate without the whole house knowing. You gotta love 'em though

Me I'm retired now but after 45 years at sea most of it watch keeping I am used to 4 hour shifts with 8 off , also I am a bit of an insomniac,
When I do go to sleep I snore something awful and it disturbs the wife so by staying up she gets a bit of sleep.

Although pictures are welcome  :lol

One more shift tonight then it's holidays for a week and half! Hopefully get some nice weather to get out on the bike and do a bit of detailing on the car before winter sets in... and do the wheel bearing I've been meaning to do... and change the oil... the fun never ends  :D

Well enjoy yourself Chris. I've just had a week in Germany, but not on a bike. Just a rather amazing BMW M3 that we hired for a few hours.
This is what I'm trying to persuade my totally amazing wonderful better half that we need one. She just says, what about the tyres, what about insurance, what about the petrol, what about the servicing, what about the road tax blah blah blah

I'm off at the mo but have volunteered to do extra nights for the next 3 weeks, so I'll be working 2days and 4 nights with 2 off. Roll on pay day November.
