lol i have the blackout blind option and curtains too..... except my window is HUGE and its difficult to get the blackout blinds to fit exact causing the light bleeding effect!

ear plugs are a must even though i live on the top floor of an apartment block... i use a pair of PJ bottoms and wrap them around my head too....

hows everyones shifts going then?!

The tin foil plan works so long as it's out of any drafts, otherwise it's annoyingly noisy :) As a bonus I will be protected from North Korean nuclear fallout :thumbup

This is my split week so on tonight and then off till the end of the week but taken an extra day shift on thursday. Spent too much money on the bike over winter and need to replenish the funds a bit... hahaha!  :D

Been on 7 days a week for over 15 years, no set start/ finish time but average 70-75 hrs a week annually. Salary is pish but job satisfaction is top of the tree. I'm off on Monday which is my 3rd official day off since June 2012, wouldn't swap my job for anything.  :) :) :)

Can be at times but the best part is having no set hours so if the sun comes out I can hop on the bike for a spin then get on with my work when I return  :)

+1 to this :D

I work from home but it is expected of me to be available pretty much 24 / 7 in case of an emergency. I've worked 70+ hour weeks before in the earlier days but thankfully work has quietened down a lot to the point where a busy week is maybe 35 hours? Fixed wage is good for when it gets quiet but can be a bit of a pain when doing a lot of extra hours. But I think its worth having the flexibility to run off and play in the sun if I want to :D

They are only taking names to see who's wanting it. Q&A session at training centre on monday and presumably the applications will be released shortly after

Really hard one for me tonight. I only had 4 hours sleep due to a neighbour and a jack hammer and some stubborn concrete. I had a mishap at work and was covered in product.  Not good it'll take a week of hot baths to get rid of the smell.

Chris is right. The processed stuff is as black as coal and after my mates were laughing as all you could see was the whites of my eyes. My mouth was clamped shut tight. Not got Ill yet so  all good.
