Woop, almost finished the last night of this week then a couple of days off!!

Wonder how the manager would feel about me bringing in my calipers to overhaul when it's quiet... haha

I'm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week too.

Yeah, got to try not sleep too long after the last one so that you can kick your body clock back around to normal mode.

Apparently scientists are not too far away from developing a pill that can quickly reset the body clock thus relieving symptoms of shifts and jet lag.

& we could prob get away with having our work pay for them.

I'm on nights tonight. I will only do 2 nights and then have 4 days off. The  pill will be the same as 6 cans of Red Bull. I don't think i would take anything, although only working 2 nights i hardly have the time to get all mixed up. Because of all the flooding i've been working extra days. so 5 days 2 nights and back onto 5 days again. That has been hard. I have a lot less sleep on days as i have to be up by half 4 but sometimes struggle to get to bed by say half 10. Put the dog out and lock the doors and just check those bloody emails and have a quick look on FaceBook and before you know it it's half 11 and you know its gonna be a crap day at work tomorrow.

My problem is i work three nights then have two nights off. That means i finish work at six in the mornig and go back at six the next nigt. No time to adjust.still it pays the bills.

We salute you Dark Lord, and those blood sucking teeth. During the winter you must struggle to see some daylight?

Ive got two weeks off after tonight and the wifes hinted about clearing up the garden. I could be in the poop as i havent seen it in daylight for ages now. Think ill have to find something to do in the garage. My bike is booked in for a service and valve clearance check on friday so i should be able to hide behind that for a while haha.

Haha! Good luck with that!

This is my first summer with a garden to look after... New house has quite a large grass area, going to have to buy a lawnmower..

Too many bloody rabbits about. I'd rather tarmac it and put a massive shed on it. haha!

I;m a greedy piglet, i'm doing an overtime shift tonight. I sleep around my mums when on nights as its quieter and i get a cooked breakfast when i get in. Anyway, my biggest gripe is that i have to go home first to sort out my lunch, say hello and walk the dog and just generally get my sh!t together. It's absolutely peeing down. I have to put my bike gear on, to ride the mile home. My gear will get soaked(on the outside) I have to take it off for about an hour but then put it on again wet and go to work. I'm typing this looking out the window and not liking what i see.

Bump.

Writing a report for my IET EngTech accreditation. Then might reasearch Final Year Project and group design.

First all-nighter of the academic year!  :rolleyes

Just report on my placement at e-Go Aeroplanes. The FYP's on "Stability, control and flight test engineer for the BMFA Heavy lift UAV". Group design is designing a cargo plane capable of carrying oversize cargoes whilst still being able to take regular freight (and be competitive!!) when the supersize capability is not required.
