I think you should go with what you want not others make it yours you will always find thoose who don't like it (usally stock bike riders) and thoose who love it (modders) in the end its your project make it as subtle or whacky as ya want

You're right there. I went my own way with my ZX7R and it turned out ok. I do like a well modded bike and there seems to only be a few who do it on here so I will join the minority

Your design reminded me of my old 250LC with it's red and white colours. Not suggesting you you copy it (although feel free!!), but may help with ideas, even if it helps you to decide not to do something.
