Google maps & TomTom

Anyone know how to transfer a map on google to a tomtom rider? I like the way you can drag the route on google and it will pick up the roads to contiune instead of plotting loads of A to B's or waypoints.

You could try exporting your route as a KML file, which is a standard type.

Save the route to My Maps and then when you view it use the KML link in the left column just under the route's name.

Don't know much about the tom-tom software but when I've had to transfer GPS data between software in the past KML has worked.

I'll second the suggestion of TYRE. It can also be used to transfer routes from your TomTom back to Google maps.
