Sat having a coffee waiting for the sun to break to bring the temp up above free my ass off so I can go out and deal with the clutch for the warmer weather this weekend.

yesterday i put a live wire from battery up to the clocks because with the ignition off
the fuel trips zero and time reset to 1am.
the second pin from left on clock connection is perm live but not on my fzs1000, a loose wire somewhere?
today the tank and pannels go back on

Having just bought my 3rd FZS600 gen 1, a lovely black 2001, one owner low mileage bike, it was time to start adding the bling for summer, so today I fitted a Simmi end can and stainless rad cover.

(Had I known I was always going to return to a Fazer again I would have kept the two rad covers bought previously and scorpion end can, would have saved me 100's!)

Epoxied up the crack to the hugger. Result - I now stink of epoxy and white spirit! Happy days...

Bought some new coolant and got it added to the bike after a bit of a flush out. Then fixed the broken dash board light and went fault finding with my heated grips... turns out the grip itself is busted

Serviced exup valve. Copper greased and cables lubed. Shiney new bolts. Old ones a bugger to get out. Thanks so much mr ghostbiker.

He was so excited he sent me a text this morning saying he was about to do it then two pictures this afternoon of his serviced Exup valve

I got mine out the garage, parked it in the sun on the patio and lightly lubricated my moving parts.

washed and polished this afternoon.checked oil and tyre presures....lost a few psi will have to keep an eye on that

Took it for 125 mile blast round Wiltshire with a few old codger friends, got home and gave it a goold old clean.
Smashing day, bike rode really nicely and weather was great.

Rode to Blackheath, then the Ace Cafe, then out to Henley, Berkshire, thrashed it through Wiltshire

Gave it a rest while I ate then blasted it home back to SE London. Some other foccers came along for the ride as well.

Dropped it...

I was on the way to a mates, who was letting me have a spin on his tuned and dynojetted Thundercat - a 98, but in mint condition (looks new). In my hurry to try the bike, I parked the Fazer on the sidestand, facing downhill in neutral. I walked away, two minutes later, a loud crunch. Ran back, and found I'd buggered the fairing (again) and dammaged my indicator stalk.

Am seriously pissed off with myself.
