Took the FZS600 out for a gentle run down to Loomies Cafe near Winchester this arvo.
Cracking afternoon, brilliant sunshine with the slightest hint of a chill in the air.
Met another Fazer FZS600 rider there chatted about bikes and the common love of the FZS600, his was an X reg Boxeye in metalic blue, pristeen nick with just 9K on the clock. he purchased it from a dealer 6 months ago at a fair price considering the condition.
He has a slight blow from the collector box and is thinking about going down the S/Steel route to replace the pipes.
Anyway we were both leaving at the same time so we had a spirited blast along the A272 back to Petersfield, where we both headed onto the A3 heading towards London, that was the point he decided to give up and fell back so I rode on alone.
When I got home that was when I realised that my 3/4" chicken strips are now down to 1/2" Woo! Woo! it was a spirited ride.
Someone once said to me always ride within your comfort zone, but, I have realised that is not right, if you do that you never get any better, like an athlete, if you train within your comfort zone that is as good as you are going to get, the same applies to riding a motorcycle, push yourself but in a controlled manner.
Any way shut the Foc up tommyardin and get some pics of that blue Boxeye up here.
