yep YFF, annual event, turnout dependent on weather as always, good collection of fantic's + garelli's,14 / 15 of them were leaving as I arrived, great sound.the four cylinder KH sounded great, bit of a job to start though, big crowd around him when trying with a big cheer when it fired....... go every year as on my doorstep

Took it to a stealer in Alicante he offered me €5000 for it on a trade in against an 2013 MT-09, he will go to €5350 on fully faired all singing and dancing FZ8 which looks well thrashed. The MT-09 has only 875Kms on it,ummm!! decisions. I think at €7250 the MT-09 is over priced.

Apparently, he likes it there so much, he did it twice ^^

Took it in for a service. Was running very lumpy low down, only one carb slightly out, but much smoother now, all sweet

Hope I can find someone as good as Del's Motorcycles & Tyres, Cirencester, when I move up north. Got it in at 8:45 this morning, had a wander around the town, couple cups of coffee - got a call at 1:30pm to say all done - £165, seems reasonable for oil and filter, plugs checked (ok), fluids replaced, brakes bled, air filter cleaned, carbs balanced, full chassis check (no problems found) etc. Friendly service, and always gives me a thorough talk-through on how he found it to be, and good advice on any little queries I might have.

Rode a 350 mile round trip to Esher ,west London for a business meeting,,stopped for an hour there and off back on the fooking motorway,,all good fun though.
Some nice views of the Thames,lines of massive house boats,narrow boats,,quite a nice area,not like Staines ,,,oooohhh,

headed towards kerry with a mate to seek out bray head tower on valentia island got to what i thought was the end of the road and had a chat with a local who reckoned id be able to drive up to it rather than doing the ould hiking lark awesome scenery up there and dry roads all the way ,even had the sun on my back on the run home ,all in all a very enjoyable 230 miles

Wednesday, went to check out a route for a Group Ride I'm leading on Sunday, unfortunately, due to road closures and general crud and gravel, ended up having to totally re-work the route!

Then rode down to the Witterings on the south coast as I'd heard there was surfing there and chatted to a couple of the hire shops. Went down to have a look at the beach and heard a distinctive sound of a Rolls Royce Merlin aero-engine and saw a Spitfire (presumably out of Goodwood) flying down the line of the beach, then back, do a barrel roll and disappear off into the distance!

With some of the roads and towns i use and go through on my commute the AIS is great for a heads up to people when off throttle... Some times

Rode it to a job in Clifton , then came home the long way via Cheddar , stopped for a coffee and cake , lovely sunny day and not too much traffic .

Rode it to Cornwall, where I am currently relaxing with a cuppa in a B&B. here at about 3:30pm, dumped my kit, and went straight out for a ride, visiting some old familiar places from my childhood.

Gonna give a photo a go - just getting familiar with a new MacBook, so not sure how well this will work - Looe harbour::
