Then a little winding B road to the A360 which is a lovely stretch, up and down and sweeping bends.

I was up that way on Xmas Eve going to my mum's in Bristol.

Unfortunately, on the way back, I'd not noticed that the temperature forecast had dropped significantly and by the time I got to Devizes my fingers were absolutely frozen to the extent that I was actually having difficulty controlling the bike and I'd not brought along the connector for the heated gloves :(

So I stopped off at a garage and used the hot air hand dryer in the loos to warm my fingers, then hit "Fastest Route" home on the Sat Nav, but even so I still had to stop off again at Sutton Scotney services going via the A34/ M3 to get a hot chocolate and warm my hands again.

Brr! :(

put in some 'lucas fuel stabalizer' which sounds simple but.......

i had to give the battery ( indoors over the winter) a quick boost, take off 2 covers, remove the chain thats wrapped around the back wheel/over the saddle,re connect the battery, leave her running for 10 minutes to get the fuel flowing into the carbs, which stunk my flat out with the fumes, and then had to do everything in reverse order- so it had better be worth it come the spring !!

i was really tempted to take her out for a quick bimble, but with all the salt thats gone down in the last 4 nights i decided againts it.

roll on spring  8)

Started to repair my cracked fairing. Probably going to fit projector style headlights but not HID, I've already split the headlight cassette open and removed the original reflectors (they have the usual peeling chrome and are for mainland europe so cast their feeble beam the wrong way).  :)

Another day spent carving up Salisbury Plain and the Marlborough Downs.

Unusual road signs, Part 2:

About the nearest you can get to Stonehenge now it has that crap visitor centre:

Another feckin white horse! :

Part of Avebury stone circle:

...and various earth works, barrows etc associated with it:

Did the Chitterne road this time, and just took a chance on a couple of interesting looking B roads I came across; God knows where I went!  :lol

Push the pistons right back into the caliper bodies and start bleeding again.

Rode the 'Evo Triangle' road in north Wales, pretty local to me(Rhos-on-Sea). Was really impressed with how amazing it was, loved the A543 Pentrefoelas to Denbigh part.

Fitted some of the stainless bolts that have come through the post so far, just waiting on the the titanium disc bolts to arrive, refitted the clear indicator lenses and bulbs, refitted my MRA vario screen, fitted m new bar end mirrors and fitted the mirror blanks to the fairing, also I'm going to paint my wheels when the weather improves.....I'm starting to get my mojo back..... :)

Went for a 100 mile run, I needed to find a Place called Bonalba as playing a bowls comp there on Monday, I know boring old fart. I went the direct route but took the long way home. Lovely weather but with the sun being low this time of year I diffo need a new visor for the lid, loads of micro scratches.
