was surprised the bike started today as hav'nt touched it for 3 weeks so instead of cleaning it i went to lyme regis for lunch on it,took the long route there but came home the normal way as i had to get back to walk the dog. gotta book the MOT so will get out again on tuesday on my day off as i need my garage to check something before it goes in. God i hate bloody MOT time  :(

Went out with Nick Crisp and met some others, had the normal full english fryup  :D . then rode some of Herefordshire finest roads on down to Tintern for coffee..

A good little ride,,,is that it for Summer then? i ask,,reckon so..

Also tested out the part worn (part worn out tyre) on the back,,seems fine.

Also we were meeting to agree on a venue for next years Euro trip===Barcelona it is then :D

Decided to check the battery voltage to see what would happen after a couple of days on charge, then leaving it for a while not charging, but when I came to unplug the connector from the Optimate, the plastic section on the end of the wires which connect to the battery came with it!

So I very carefully pushed it back in place, then get some insulating tape to cover the postive terminal before it decided to short against the frame before lifting the tank and taking the whole thing off.

I've managed to bodge it back in place so it will still charge for now, but I've ordered a new one that should be arriving next week to replace it.

Sheesh!

Took the freshly Pilot Road 4 shod Fazer 1000 for a good spin to bed in the tyres.

Definitely superior to the PR3s in term of feel and grip. :) On the way home I found I could push the front harder than on the PR3s, less tyre movement also which I prefer, more like the Metezler Sportec M5.  :thumbup

Whereas the PR3 had excellent grip wet and dry I never really liked the movement, but these PR4s are excellent. Now to see how they wear.

Now it is cooling down a bit here in sunny Spain. Just out and about enjoying myself. Now the tourist season is as good as over had some great roads to play on.
One of the pics is of a resevoir not far from were we live. The water level is really well down apparently it was only 19% full two weeks ago but is back upto 30% already as we have had a lot of rain this past two weeks and when it rains here at this time of year. We have just had the hottest and longest summer here since 1999.
Funny when I looked at the photo of my bike it looks as if it is black which its not. Best £4k I ever spent, bought it of a forum member.
