lights dont work ?

my lights went off going home i checked the fuse it had blown, i changed the fuse still nothing no lights or horn,
last time it happend i changed the fuse and everything worked again,

The fuse has blown for a reason, something has shorted so don't just put a bigger fuse in it (or wrap it in foil) :lol

I don't suppose you've modded the lights for them both to come on have you? If so, check all the cabling used for that for any breaks, exposed wire etc.

My FZS600 had that mod fitted and caused a few probs a year down the line, i've reverted back to standard.

Just been having a similar problem myself. Corrosion in the switch itself turned out to be the cause.
Dismantled the switch, scraped the contacts clean and gave it a quick blast of WD40 to try to keep oxidation and moisture at bay yesterday.
That was the easy bit... bastard job to get everything back into the housing afterwards. :grumble


Seems to have done the trick in this case though. :)

all working fine now had a dodgy fuse !! it had not blown though ,
