Just had a McDonalds, it did cross my mind but meat is meat whatever animal it comes from. If you didn't know you would still be eating them as no one complained about the taste before hand.

I went into Tesco's cafe this lunchtime and ordered a burger. The assistant asked if I wanted anything on it - so I bet a fiver each way.

I've had horse steak and very nice it is too.

But you know if I buy beef burger, that says it's a beef burger, then I expect a beef burger, not burger a containing horse, pork and a bit of beef.

Just shows that our supermarkets don't have a clue what's going on in the meat processing plants, and frankly I don't think they care.

Oh, my pet hate, meat injected with water.   Aaaaaagh!

They were also found with two calves, a pussy and thousands of hares

Now Tesco have removed all their burgers from the shelves, they recommend trying their meatballs instead; they really are the dog's bollocks.

Went into Tesco's cafe again and said  "I'm so hungry I could eat a horse!"

"Well, you came to the right place!" replied the assistant...

A work colleague was off ill. She said that the tesco burgers had given her the trots  :rollin

The only meat I occasionally buy from supermarkets is reduced price organic stuff (assuming it is what the label says it is). Eat very little red meat, and what meat and poultry I do buy I get from the butcher at the farm shop across the road. The stuff is all free range and not that much more expensive than the crap you find in supermarkets. Hmmm, might have some of their pork, lime and chilli sausages for tea :)
