Biker Apps
« on: 04 January 2013, 07:37:39 pm »
I'm new to the smart phone world.
The latest FastBikes mag has listed some biker apps.
I've tried Diablo Super Biker today, you get speed, lean angle and route etc, seems good fun, although the bikes unwell so I tried it in the car got 12 degrees of lean apparently  :eek
Anyone one else know of any good ones.

There is one called MPG on the eyepoodle...... it lets you put in miles and litres and charts your mpg... surprisingly

Its fun for a while and then gets boring but I know I get more than 50mpg average which isnt bad and it drops to 40 something when I am riding a little spiritedly  ;) :lol

Google maps is awesome, if you have a google account you can save a route you plot on the internet and access it on your phone using the app like a satnav. It also has a basic satnav function. You can also save sections of map to your phone to save data while using the gps function

+1 on Google maps, and Tapatalk is ok, but I don't use it too often. Fuelly app does the same as MPG, as you can see on the bottom of my signature.
Bike drag racing game is highly addictive! :lol

So does that mean Google maps remembers your route and speed so you can look back later and see your journey? ?

If its mine your on about, its a gen II FZ1, and 40's pretty good for a gen II. MY FZS 600 can regularly hit 50+mpg.
