started the big clean

started cleaning and refurbishing the fazer 1000 see what ya think
and yes i got bored today.

and after

the refurbished alloy parts where polished and 2 thin coats of clear.

Just brought some MucOff as that seems to work

nicely done.. you do that by hand or machine? I take it you removed to polish or was it done on bike with a bit of masking up for spraying?

Mucoff does work well .... then muc off miracle shine makes it nice n sparkly  8)

Hi all first i would like to apologise for the large photos they would not go any smaller.
 
I did take them all off and polished the heal plates with a polishing mop on a drill.
and the had a scotch brite cylinder attachment on the drill
 to take off all of the old lacquer on the side plates
to make them look nice and shinny, i then cleaned everything ready for
the new lacquer.
