I have the same as this, it's LOUD.......

How did you fit it and does it come with a relay and instructions?

It was a long time ago that it was fitted, as in 4+ years, but it's mounted hanging underneath the left infill fairing tray with the open end of the horn facing downwards.
You can see it as there's about 4cm poking down from the fairing, right between the carbs and the radiator, but it just looks like part of the bike.
I vaguely remember having to trim down some sort of bracket that was getting in the way under there as well, it can't be that important otherwise i simply wouldn't have touched it.
It will come with instructions, and if you look at the smaller photo's in the advert you'll see that all bits needed are supplied, with a relay included.
It's a ropey photo i've supplied as it's old, and i've enlarged it, but i presume the red wires on show along the frame are part of it?
This has been an invaluable piece of kit to me, and has got me out of many dodgy situations, cars will move if they think they've just cut up a lorry, which is not far off what it sounds like. And i've made many a pedestrian do a funny dance when they've blatantly walked out in front of me without looking, especially under a train station bridge near my work where they just don't give a shit, but the horn echoes twice as loud  :lol
For the price of it i'd say give it a go, it's a lifesaver and worth every penny, and i'm sure you must know someone who could give you a hand fitting it.

tax has run out matey  :lol

Other than the mudguard and wheel, everything has been changed at the front since then.
Tyre, forks, pads, brake lines, calipers..........and a shiny new tax disc!  :)

I wouldn't know to be honest, i'm sure it could be done but personally i wouldn't want it, especially at night time as it's so loud, i only use it sparingly or in blatant emergencies.
If for example you just wanted to flash a bus to give it an all clear and the horn goes off you'll have everyone looking at you from all sides!  :o

I have twin, single blast air horns on both bikes and also my old diesel astra, Gives me an option when car on the local A road won't pull over after an overtake. Easy fit under front fairing. compressor cable tied to top hose. worth it just for the grin factor! Around £14 on e bay

Cheers for that. Looking at the twin snail horns as a possible upgrade. Anything has got to be better than the standard hooter! Really need something to wake up the idiots on the road. Shouting at the top of my voice doesn't always do the trick (motorways) & gives me sore throat/headache.  :evil

I've just come back down the A30 after a  trip to mothers . Climbing one of the long drags in Devon in my old astra "with said air horns"  a dozy driver would not pull over after her overtake, I tried the usual polite headlight flash to no avail, Then waching the reaction after a 10second blast with the air horns was priceless The horns are worth every penny for the fun I have had with them , on bikes and car
