Camera advice please
« on: 08 December 2012, 11:32:45 pm »
Well, Ive looked and am now here at the great oracle that is FOC-U, so thanks in advance!

Thinking of buying the better half a new compact digital camera for xmas, would like it with built in rechargable battery, and looking to spend around £50/60 if possible. Does anyone have any recomendations?

Thanks again in advance

recommendations? yeah, go to currys and ask them. your question is even harder for us to answer than "I want to buy a new bike but only want to spend £100" but you expect more than a chialing piece of junk.

Thanks for the help, it is appreciated.

GringoRojo, Sorry if my question offended you, a better wording of my question would have been "What digital cameras around the £60 mark have you got? would you recomend it to a friend?" Anyway, appologies to you.

Glad you found something in your budget in the end. I didn't comment as I don't know much about point and shoots, sorry. Can't go wrong with canon though ;-)

no offense taken, and none intended on my part. the world of cameras is so swamped with models new and not so new especially in the budget/lower price range that I appreciate the indecision. just wasnt sure we'd have enough of a consumer cross section to help you.

canon do make some great photocopiers though. :pokefun

See a camera you like, wait 6 months.......

Instant bargain.

Actually, waiting till January would do the trick
