Where best to get a seat cut down? (East Mids)
« on: 14 October 2011, 03:40:23 pm »
I need to get my Fazer thou's seat cut down a bit (actually mainly cutting out width at the front, as well as a bit of height) to accomodate my short girlie legs. I am too scared of wrecking the seat to do it myself with the electric meat carver  ;)

Can anyone suggest anywhere in the East Midlands that would do a good job and also not too expensive? I am near Loughborough, so somewhere in Leics/Notts/Derbys would be best. Cheers  :)

Try contacting local upholsterers, I got mine done by one near me in Portsmouth and he did a great job.

Good idea, will try that. How much did he charge you, out of interest?

Try this guy, he's been doing it years and his work is top quality.

Only charged me £40 p+p to recover my mums yp125 majesty seat and they are massive seats.

It cost me £30 and took about half an hour RIRO.
