Are you being Ironic? USD forks make it far from standard then you have the seat, screen, end can, frame plugs, bars, brake lines, hugger, rad guard, luggage, belly pan amongst others !!!

What I had and what I've got

Black 600 one came first, still around somewhere, Blue 2002 thou gone to the great Fazer heaven in 2009 when I wrote it off, really pissed off as it only had 7000 miles on it and was immaculate.

Current one, got it late 2009 with 14k on it, only use it for fun but now has 44k on it. Hope to get the 5 spoke R6 wheels on it by May when I go to Scotland.

It was mothballed for the winter (well, stuffed in the shed and forgotten about

), just got it out and took it for its first spin of the year yesterday. Charged battery, started first touch of the button

It has a couple of small rust patches on the frame, slight paint flaking on one engine casing, nothing serious, and one or two bolts are a little furred, but I think will clean up ok. Otherwise, still pretty spotless.

I've been using the Street Triple as the winter hack, but even that didn't get much use until recently. It was great to be back on the main squeeze though

I don't think there's anything else I want to do to mine...well, I'd like to shorten the exhaust link pipe a bit, but that's all now. Oh, maybe do like you've done with the foot peg hangers on yours Mick, with the black finish, but don't know if I'll get around to it.

Just have to make my mind up if I'm going to sell the parts I've taken off or save them in case I ever sell the bike.

Bought a good 2001 gen1 1000 autumn:-
Currently still having a good ole tinker - rearsets, R6 shock, engine covers resprayed, upper fairing repaired and resprayed, bellypan, wavy discs, braided hoses, handlebars, levers, gps, tail tidy, indicators, etc etc.....oh, and a USD front end

Keeping stock items wrapped in cotton wool

Will post pic's of the progress.....
