I know, I know, it's an FZ1. From across the pond... mods- cut down rear fender, the chin spoiler, rear peg delete, couple of painted details and "the pipe". Did/do the yellow bikes come with yellow grab rails? And, what are you using for a mirror base when mounting them on the bars... left side?

I do like those American skunk paint jobs, and still have a soft spot for yellow 

Don't know if they came with yellow grab handles, but I think black ones look just fine with that scheme. Love the pipe, sounds great, but a bit too loud for me - couldn't imagine living with that on a 400+ mile trip, and I find I do have some sympathy for the neighbours - must be getting old

Only as an admirer of all things  ......apart from that im stuck in chistos thread......actually i cant even comment there as i dont hve a bike......up your neck o the woods saturday morning to pick it up (cheltenham)......the guy is actually going to Charlbury...he says do you know Charlbury and im like yeh i know charlbury...charlbury TT innit

Gone from an FZ8 to an FZ1S (both below) - The 1 seems to have a cramped seating position  in comparison to the 8, but has loads more grunt (obviously) and handles just as well.

Currently have a list of mods as long as yer arm to keep me occupied during the coming weeks including decat, SAS removal, secondary flies removal, K&N air filter and a Holeshot high level exhaust, all followed up with an ECU reflash and custom map (probably at RaceHQ Leeds). I have a PCV from the FZ8 that will fit if necessary but I dont think I will need it after a reflash and custom map.

Apart from a new rear shock, is there anything else I need to be doing whilst I am at it? Cheers

RaceHQ did my custom map on my FZ1s, they could not do an ECU reflash as he did not have the necessary software to do it as he reckoned there was not enough call for ECU reflashing on the FZ1.
