Finished prepping mine for winter...sensible stuff indeedy, puig screen, fender extender, heated grips and vest controller, a good wash and lashings of acf50 ...let the salt do it's worst.

they look so much better in all white than the ones with the black tail. all black motah looks good too. if i could have afforded new, that would have been the colour, lovely bike mate

Yeah it's a mivv carbon GP. Brooker81 was chasing me over Hambleton and said it's a quite loud, and thats with the baffle in. Can't say I noticed myself :

yep its loud !! although when riding it all you can hear is the airbox roar !! brilliant bike. (oh yeah and RST is a bloody good rider too thats why i couldn't keep up

I dont want to hijack the thread but im going to anyway:P.I've been looking at gen1 thous for a while and can't tell what is standard / correct and what is not some have black mudguards some have black tails some have exup stickers some don't not to mention black engine, silver engine, silver frame, black frame arrgh. Does anyone know of a thread that explains what should be with what and when???

I know what you mean.... mine's a 2004 with a black frame and silver engine....I think the black frames came with later models but not 100% sure.

I'm sure there is a smart arse foccer anorak that knows though.

Thanks for your comments.It's a late 2003 model that's been Ivanised by the previous owner.I think its a 'Full Monty' conversion because the exhaust has no EXUP valve plus its got a K&N filter,ported boots,air box mod.and 4 degree advancer.

The previous guy has done pretty much all the mods I would have got round to like R6 shock for example so i'm well chuffed

I have an advancer on mine.

Just to be clear, Capt T, removing the EXUP valve is most definitely not part of the Full Monty installation. By the look of it, you have the Sandy Spares aftermarket headers fitted to yours instead, mated to the Blueflame link pipe.
