FZS 1000 FZS 600 Fairing swop

Along time ago i read a post on here (or the other one) about a guy that swapped over the fairing of a 600 to a 1000 and vise versa but now cant find the post, can anyone help? both bikes were yellow if that helps
what i really need to know is will the fairing from a 600 fit on to the fairing bracket of a 1000? and are the headlights the same or different,just like the look of the pointy screen on the 6 better, and its winter so gotta do summat!   oh yes gen 1 fazer bye the way.

ive done it!

well ive stuck a 1000 front end on a square light 600! (way b4 the fox eye came out!) it was a complete front end, the light bracket fitted straight onto the front of the bike, no adjustments or modification.

the 1000 light unit is different from the 600 fox eye & wont fit the fairing.
