Because of my Heart condition I have one every year, had mine done a couple of weeks ago, don`t know it`s been done and never get any side effects.

Never had one as I think they protect you against last year's virus?
Anyhoo, I don't travel on public transport much these days and that seems to be the easiest way to catch flu.

The jab's contents is decided in February, so there's no protection against anything since then.

However, regarding public transport, I recently read that travelling that way actually strengthens your immune system as you are frequently exposed to various bugs :)

You only build up an immunity if you catch it and your white cells destroy and make antibodies to defeat it next time it goes up your nose. i think

Had mine a few days ago due to past heart issues and asthma, arms a bit tender where I was stabbed but otherwise ok.

I'd consider going back if it is still an issue :(
