Didn't realise you have owned one before.
Shows what a great bike they are, when folks return to them :)

They say blue one's are the fastest, but dark grey is the stealthier  ;)

US bikes also had BIG indicators as stock... a good clue too.

Taz of Peterborough did sell a shed load of US spec FZ-1s( gen2) in 06 and 07. They made  a right rats tail of the wiring to switch it over on mine though...so be careful if you fit any tail tidy for example...

If its a US model won't Speedo have kilometres per hour on the Speedo in preference to miles per hour?

its MPH in the states not KPH.

Unless you're a Hardly rider.  They have speedos calibrated in FPD.

:) my gen 1 has big indicators, not sure where it came from but will check the sevice book when i get a moment, i was at alan duffus today but when i asked about it the guy i asked seemed vague in his answer, he seemed to think it was a crossover model but he did,nt seem sure, he also said the hazard and flasher switchgear could,nt be retro fitted :'( but not sure if he actually knew, so the mystery continues,  :o :o :o
