« on: 20 June 2012, 07:19:31 pm »
dont store it on the floor of your shed if you do some sawing and filing etc. the magnets picked up bits of swarf and when i took the bag off my shiny fazer, there were little scratches on the tank. doh...

Always put a bit of that non-slip matting you can get for caravans, pillion seats etc.
It's thin enough to allow the magnets to take hold and will stop any scratches etc from getting anywhere near your tank.

The hire bike I have right now didn't have a top box at first, so I used ny tank bag.put it on floor in petrol station and must have picked up some metal bits as I scratched the tank a couple of days ago to :( least it wasn't my bike. I hope they don't notice when I hand it back LOL
