Hugger options
« on: 31 May 2012, 09:43:04 am »
Hi all,

I'm looking for a hugger for my 2000, but the budget won't stretch to a new one. Does anyone know if there are any OEM huggers from other bikes, i.e. YSF600R that will fit the MK1 FSZ600?  I don't mind a bit of modification.

Failing that, anyone know where I can get a cheap one that will fit?

Cheers,

Jamie

1 on Ebay for £80, and a slightly iffy looking one on 'Fazerspares' that's been repaired, with an icepick by the looks of it.  :eek

I have a carbon effect one that I'd be willing to sell. Or I have a red one that is broken but fixable. A small triangle of plastic broke off on the chain guard section where it bolts onto the swing arm, I was unable to recover the wee bit that broke off but you could easily fabricate a new piece and glue/weld/bolt it in place by overlapping it or laminating it in place with a couple of pieces of plastic..
I know, not very clear.. I could send you pics of either / both after the weekend if you want.
