Seems we are not the only ones who have noticed the increasing glare from LED lights and the GOV are looking into it - no pun intended.

Oh dear. The Govt are looking into it. That means some committees will be formed at some point in the medium term future, debates in both houses, expert witnesses, inquiries etc etc etc. And with a view to do what. Slowly phase out the use of LEDS, legislate that headlight beams only illuminate 10 ft in front of the vehicle, sidelights only at night. Ill carry on with my night vision glasses and wait for the conclusions, but at 72, I doubt ill be around to hear them
