Guess its about time for a bit of tlc

Well the old girl is 19yrs old and due its yearly service (by me)
So i thought i would get a carb rebuild kit including diaphragms and give the carbs a thorough clean up
New oil and filter and spark plugs and fuel filter

Just on with a full nut & bolt resto on my Gen1 thou, labour of love comes to mind.


Speaking from experience of Yambits fuel filters, they're made to Yamaha dimensions but a bit crappy finished off, needs a bit of prep work before fitting, flashing needs scraping off on pipe ends & a sand smooth with some 600 wet/dry, had em weep fuel before, no leak if u prep em before fitting.

Guess i must be lucky then as this one fitted nice and snuggly and no leaks at all 


still got to balance the carbs but bit too hot to be stuck in the garage at the moment
