Adjusting Foot Pegs
« on: 24 April 2012, 09:36:21 pm »
Are the foot pegs even adjustable? Tried looking but it doesn't seem like it. I've noticed that since I adjusted the rear suspension (went from softest to hardest - thank you previous owner  :rolleyes ) and now my left leg feels very cramped and squished. I do have quite large legs unfortunately...as well as stomach but thats a different matter entirely  :lol

dont think the standard ones can be adjusted. you can get jack up kits for the suspension or you might be able to thicken the seat a bit. or you could just sit on a cushion :lol

adjusting the rear suspension won't change the seat to peg relationship though.

Well thats what I thought would have been the case, but evidently not. There is definitely less space for my leg to bend now that ive changed the suspension - its not much, but its enough to make it uncomfortable.

As for padding the seat etc, I would then have the issue of not being able to touch the floor as well - I cant get both feet flat on the floor now as it is. Beginning to think that im broken and the bike is fine  :lol

I guess you're sitting differently or summat. Maybe more weight on your arms. More forward. But you ain't changed the peg to seat relationship as they're both bolted to the frame.
