LED Indicator lamps
« on: 03 May 2021, 06:34:30 pm »
Hi

Can anyone recommend LED replacement lamp bulbs that are a straight swap for the filament type please?

I did ask before I know, old and senile. Any other suggestions gratefully received! ... other than Foxtrot Oscar

Work okay, fitted this evening. Flash rate slightly faster than I am used to but still legal. Roughly 85 -90 flash per minute, I think as standard it was 60fpm.

Being a pendant, I have brought an adjustable flasher relay, from ebay, to see if I can reduce the rate!

Nice and bright now though, but not retina burning like some w*****s out there. Brightest is not always best!

Update,

I fitted the adjustable relay and it actually works better than the one supplied with the lamps, which caused the dash repeaters to stay on and dim when the indicators flashed on/off.

The adjustable relay allowed me to trim the flash rate down nearer to the original rate and the dash repeaters now work as original.  :D
