great advice on here as always  ...iam going to fold the tyres in half and secure with string and put them in the wheelie bin next to the flimsy plastic container containing 5 litres of used engine oil....should be fine

i have also accumulated 20 litres of used engine oil which will be going to the dump on Saturday, no charge for that so must be sold on...but what for ?

All of my local council dumps have a tank for waste oil, but your vehicle has to display a sticker to prove you’re from that borough, obtained from the council tax department.

Some places are now charging £25 a wheel, that was the price a friend of mine got recently.

There’s a local mobile guy to me, who’ll come to your house remove the old tyre from a loose wheel, fit and balance the new one that you’ve supplied. He charges £20. He can supply tyres as well, but not as cheap as buying them from Oponeo and getting him to fit them.
