Disturbing wind
« on: 05 July 2020, 08:44:28 pm »
Hi, just bought a foxey with the std glas (windscreen) .  I am 178cm and getting a lot of disturbed wind right in the helmet, resulting in a lot of noice and forces on the head. Anyone have a solution?

flip up screens help some people, lower screens help others.

And just to give you a different opinion.....

Foyeye with Fabri double bubble, GYTR risers and renthal  bars. 6’ (183cm) rider. Horrible wind buffeting which got under my helmet and used to make my eyes water! Got a standard screen and it’s so much better for me.

this is what i got last year, thought it would be worth a punt as cheap, havent looked back since, ideal for me and i had bar risers fitted as well, its not as tall as it looks and I'm about 5'9-5.10. https://www.wemoto.com/bikes/yamaha/fzs_600_fazer/98-99/picture/screen_-_touring___tall

Another view from me - I tried a double bubble and found no difference, Boxeye, 5'8" rider. I just grew some neck muscles.
