FORK OIL SEALS
« on: 15 April 2012, 09:48:54 pm »
One leg's leaking.
Gonna do both seals.
Recommendations as to o/e or aftermarket - leaning toward original due to past experiences but been quite some time since I've had to do any forks - are the ones from Wemoto okay?  I used to shorten spring in seal itself to assist in making it a better seal - this still done?

I have bought from Wemoto as well. No issues so far, but I haven't ridden far yet. I did them a few months ago.

I used originals, for the difference in price wasn't worth losing the time/money if they needed redoing.

Aye, thanks all, agreeing with DryRob methinks -  just ordered o/e at £14.25 inc post.
