That would be 440 miles on a (now modded) 22 litre tank.
Average mileage is 45 miles per gallon.
Yes, those figures are as much good as car manufactures, they're based on most owners who don't ride all year varying levels of experience etc. I did say depending on
how you ride, now if you're a point and squirt merchant, you'll get figures like those, a bit also depends on the bike. I used to commute in/out of London 5 days a week A1, A406, Hanger Lane, I don't hang about ride quick but smoothly, I used to get 56 ish MPG, with a range of 260 - 5 miles before it run dry on the modded tank. I always carried a 2.5Lt can and would get caught out a few times a year, pushing the extra 5 miles.
I think you're find that's 20 miles per lt or there about's. It's all about the right wrist, gearbox and level of skill, you've either got or you haven't
Also a 98 - 99 models had 18lt, 00 - 01 20lt same tank just smaller neck filler. 02 - on 22lt different tank.
