Just been looking at the Birmingham City Council website. It doesn't seem to mention bikes?
Have you seen this thread about the London charge? If the Brum one does include bikes, there might be a loophole.

Don't really know why people slag Birmingham and brummies, from being a barrow boy when I was 15 to the present day I've always found a warmth and friendliness which is sadly missing in most big cities and through work in my life I've stopped in quite a few so feel fairly qualified to judge,ok it's got it's share of criminals, gangs etc,but it is what it is.Before you condemn the place check it and the people out,I think you'd find you'll have a change of heart.

Have to agree always found Brummie's friendly, decent people, that would sooner help you out than do you harm.
