Jerky throttle response
« on: 15 July 2018, 07:19:42 pm »
As the title says, I'm finding the throttle becoming very jerky at times (especially at low speed) on my FZ6 (06)
I put a Power Commander III on ages ago which improved the fuel injection, but I'm wondering if the throttle bodies need rebalancing (I don't know they've ever been done...)

Other possible causes to Grahamm, plugs/air filter/valve clearances. Balanced mine last year, simple enough task but access is a bugger to the spigots

The air filter is brand new (changed it a week or so ago). Plugs are next on the list to be changed, hopefully later this month, so maybe that will fix it.

Valve clearances are possibly a bit outside my comfort zone at the moment, but thanks for the suggestion :thumbup

AFAIR the bike had the TPS replaced when they were recalled and I'm not getting any error warnings of a fault, but it's something I can check.
