Hi Gents it's time to replace the coolant, does anyone have any recommendations?

I just use Halfords OAT antifreeze, I buy the 5 litre concentrate and use for the bike and cars.

There was an in depth thread about coolant choice a year or so ago. From those suggestions I went for the Comma X Stream G30, also from Halfords but needs diluting 50:50 with distilled water.

Just make sure you flush the old coolant out  completely because mixing OAT and non OAT can cause sludgy deposits that will block the narrow carburettor heating pipes.  Drain the old coolant out, fill with clean water and run the engine for a minute or two then drain the water out and refill with the coolant of your choice

Thanks to all who took the time to answer, I've went the OAT pre mixed stuff. Decided as I'd drained the coolant it was a good time to take the carbs off for a deep clean. Couldn't budge two of the rubber hose clips at the airbox as they're made of cheese with a round philips head to boot!  :'(  Ended up wrenching the thing off the rubbers before getting the throttle cables released. I'm now off the road until I get a new set of rubbers and give the carbs a good fettling  :groan
