I use two fingers and can stop no problem. Blue spot calipers are still very good, maybe not like radials but very good. As long as your brakes are working as they should you will get the back in the air before you stop.
I also have XL hands and can get 4 fingers on the levers if I wanted

We all have our opinions, right wrong good or bad without them this site would not be interesting.
We all learn from others posts and build an opinion into what is right and wrong.
Believe me I have had it and decided not to prove the person wrong but just to let it go.
Yes it was hard but I knew it would result in the likes of these comments which serve no purpose in helping each other overcome any problems we may have.

Cant find the same ones I have, but I wouldn't go folding again.

Update for info - they arrived today (so only two weeks from order to delivery) and I like the look of 'em - black with red bits.

I'll post some pics when they're fitted, along with my opinion of them.

My clutch has been very stiff since I got the bike, despite new cable (and oil, of course), so I'm hoping these will make my hands ache less in traffic.

No. You are presuming that I dont know better. In fact I do know better, having done 2 days with the Keith Code school in Australia a couple of years ago. They taught me all I need to know about braking, leverage, feathering brakes and control under full on brake force. I don't need to read 'articles'.
 I hope you are not comparing proddy racing with track days. World of difference mate, not splitting hairs.

Fitted them this morning - took a few minutes and was very simple. Only needed the bushing swap on the clutch side.

I'm not riding it just yet, as the battery is on charge in the house, and it's starting to piddle down outside.

The action feels good - hopeful that they will be an improvement. They certainly look a lot better than the ones that were on it - not sure if they were originals or not. Yeah, I know it needs a clean!

I got the bike out for a test ride and some maintenance today (see woeful story of broken ExUp pulley) so I took a few shots in daylight:

Widest brake lever setting (there are 6):

Smallest setting (1), fully applied:



Not much point showing the clutch lever settings - I found that as it was, on setting 1 and 2, put into gear = bike takes off! 3 is dragging. 4, 5 and 6 were okay - but further reach. So the clutch needed a bit of adjusting and testing. I'm happy with it now, even though I still can't use settings 1 and 2.

I do like these, they feel good - the brake is far better than the one I took off - which I found was actually broken at the fitting hole.

Pictures (David Bailey doesn't needs worry) of my Chinese levers. They feel great but the adjusters are on maximum already. They feel a little bit 'loose' but I haven't got any expensive ones to compare them with. All in all well worth the money.
