I have DRL and yes STUPIDLY the dash is lit even with the lights off, the only difference is that the radio buttons are not lit and when the side lights are switched on the display slightly dims, also there is a very small tell tail amber led above the mirror but a long way above so that it is out of your line of sight when looking in the mirror.
In the city area of town the street lights are white LED which look great and light the street perfectly, but the problem is they work too well and you can not see your car lights lights.

I dont think there is too much of an issue because people only make the mistake in bright lit cities, and as soon as they get to an area where it would matter they then realise

A problem occurs, when a percentage of these drivers you talk about, leave the city and still don't realise. I'e lost count of the clowns on the motorway at night, in the dark, with daytime lights on. And its a large percentage........

If it's a GS1200 on full beam, that's probably because he has cataracts, as well as being stone deaf and smelling of wee.

Feck off I resemble that remark, blind as a bat , deaf as a post, you try and get your John Thomas out when you are bursting and wearing 3 layers, also if you shake it more than 3 times you will be accused of playing with it.

Shake away my friend, as i'm sorry but 3 shakes just does not do it. I would rather be accused of playing with it than get that missed drip cause that really uncomfortable wet spot  :lol
