What way are you guys turning these bulbs to ensure they get as close to the original beam pattern as possible? Mine are currently installed as they were delivered. Will I be far out?

I have installed mine and took the bike to have the beam angle checked. The near side was spot on and the offside was at the top of the range for height and needed adjusting to face the nearside a bit more. Now spot on and very happy with them.

I had the headlight unit adjusted using one of the gadgets they use when they do the MOT. I removed the inner panels to give access to the adjusters and he adjusted them for £0!!  Took him about 20 seconds. Only one needed adjusting, the other was spot on out of the box.

Yup they rock. Bulb on the left is a 20 w 4000 lumen LED, bulb on the right is an expensive halogen night breaker, which is supposed to be 140 percent better than a normal halogen h4

Would ones of this fit in the Fz1 too? It still uses a H4 bulb (I think) and I've got the naked model so would only need one 😋😋

The Gen 1 is H4 dual filament. The kit comes with two bulbs

These are bloody brilliant. I can even see well coming home tonight with my shoei neotec flip front up and the sun visor down. It's the white light, it's just a different league. It was actually a bit disconcerting on bends til I got used to it as it was very very cold and the roads look white with frost!

Sorry to revive an old topic but I was after replies specifically from those who have done the upgrades!

I've got the oppertunity to get these bulbs (the ones linked from Amazon with no fan) for under £30, is everyone still happy with them? Had any issues at all?

The issue was getting the rear of the bulbs to seal against the OEM seal -

But now thinking about it I think I will have to make up some rubber gromets/seals to seal the gap instead. As you can see from the image above thats the stock bulb and the connector/spacer that plug into and converts the H7 to H4 spacing. The back of the LED bulbs needs to be roughly the same length and I will make a space for the width.
