1980. Honda CB200, did about 8000 miles on it in my first 9 months of motorcycling, good bike but I killed it, lack of maintenance plus had to rev nuts off it trying to keep up with my mate on his RD200.
1981. Honda CB200, did about 14000 miles on this one in my second nine months of motorcycling, killed it as above.
1982. Honda CJ250T, about 7000 miles, how I managed to keep this bike for a full year is a mystery, hated it, must be one of the worst bikes ever produced from the land of the rising sun.
1982. Honda C50 (winter bike), loved it, had a few of em over the years but that first one was the best!! Yes I know I'm a saddo!!.
1983. Yamaha RD250LC, loved it, should never have let my cousin bug me into selling it to him, he managed to cartwheel it through a shop window and wrote it off.
1984. Suzuki GS1000E, took a while to get into it after the LC but got used to it and got to like it, stripped it down winter of 84 with intention of putting it in harris frame, ended up selling it in bits to fund proddy racing.
1985. Yamaha RD250LC, bought it to start proddy racing, also used on road at same time, got stolen.
1985. Yamaha RD250LC, bought as a proddy racer, sold as a proddy racer, never used it on road legally!!.
1985. Yamaha RD200, bought just as runaround but ended up using it for a couple of years, good little bike.
1987. Yamaha YPVS350F1, originally bought with the intention of putting on the racetrack but never did, rode it for about 4 years, excellent bike, had well over 40000 miles on clock when sold it to a mate, another one I should have never sold.
1991. Yamaha XJ600, bought brand new, did about 30000 miles on it in the first couple of years but spent most of its life neglected and unloved in the corner of the garage, not bad bike I suppose but never did much for me, finally got round to flogging it couple of years ago.
1995. Suzuki X7, bought it as an restoration project, ended up putting a few miles on it, fun to ride but scary at anything like speed, realised how brave them X7 lads was who I used to dice with in the eighties, got stolen, bugger!!!.
Sometime in nineties, Honda 250 Superdream, least said the better.
2004. Yamaha FZS1000. Bought brand new, love it, simple as, 82000 miles motorcycling joy, would never sell this one.
2014. Yamaha XTZ660. Bought it because fancied something a bit different to the fazer, took me a while to get into it but grown to like it, put about 20000 miles on it in last couple of years, the fazer still my favourite but this ones also a keeper as well.
