I'm just glad I won't be around by the time this kinda stuff becomes 'normal'. Our poor kids on the other hand may as well kiss goodbye to good old fashioned motorcycling fun now. They probably won't ever get to experience it in its truest form

Madness! It will happen though. I was involved in manufacturing and setting up an art installation which had dozens of scalextric cars on a huge six lane track, the cars where fitted with sensors and telemetry which prohibited them from coming into contact with each other. The technology exists.

I like the 'safe to ride without a helmet'. It's reasonably safe now, just crashing without one can be problematic.

I know right! What the fuck do they think happens when a car hits you? I'd like to see it self balance then haha
Might very that excuse next time I'm out in the car..."I wasn't wearing my belt officer because BMW said this car is so safe that I don't need too"
🤔🤔

Didn't they do one a few years ago that had an extended screen that turned into a roof that went right over you and it was also fitted with a seatbelt, also ne helmet needed because of the seatbelt  :eek

That would be the C1?

Or are you thinking about the Quazar with the Reliant engine?
