mirror extenders Gen 1?

My mate is looking for mirror extenders for his gen 1.. Does anyone know where he can get them?

Cheers, I found them earlier.. Was hoping for a cheap Chinese option, as its only a bit of metal or plastic...

You can do a bit of faffery with the mirror legs to make the mirrors sit further out if I remember correctly. It involves swapping the legs from side to side and taking the mirrors off the stalks. Cheap option though

I'm sure I read about it on here before so a search will likely turn up some info..

Good link, that looks fairly straightforward, I think I'll also give that mod a go, otherwise it's the extenders option.....

I have done the mirror mod and am very happy with the results..... wouldn't go back.( I cut the notches as shown at the bottom of the link).

Definitely do the notches if you do much (any) filtering. The mirrors do stick out noticeably further.
