Fairing bolts/clips
« on: 22 September 2016, 04:57:38 pm »
Hi guys

Was wondering if anyone firstly what the clip things that hold the fairing near the display unit are called, and secondary, does anyone know where I can get some?

Photo attached to show you what I'm on about (circles around the area for the clippy things I'm missing).

Thanks guys

Had to buy 2 of these recently-My Yamaha local dealer stocks them-Yamaha refer to them as "Rivets" £1-29 each 2 weeks ago.

Do you know anywhere online you can get them? Or is it something I'm only likely to find at a dealership?

Been a while since I had a boxeye but for sure the lower red circle is a phillips head bolt on my foxeye.. My memory isnt what it was and could be wrong  :)

I've just order some of these off ebay.

Everytime my bike gets knocked over these rivets pop out and fly off so all my fairing inlays are held in be zipties.
..another thing I do to keep my bike looking tatty so no one wants to steal it. :-)
